April 2010: Ministry of Tourism honours Mr Sarab Jit Singh
Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has honoured Mr Sarab Jit Singh, Managing Director, Travelite (India) and President, Indian Tourist Transport Association (ITTA), for his valuable contribution towards the success of training taxi drivers in Delhi, under the Capacity Building of Service Providers Scheme. Mr Singh has been the driving force behind training of this vital segment of Indian tourism industry. In light of the upcoming Commonwealth Games, Mr Singh’s farsightedness and thrust on improving professionalism in the Indian tourism industry has been widely appreciated.
