Routing Bangalore - Hassan - Mysore - Maldives

Day 01 - Arrive Bangalore
Upon arrival at Bangalore airport, you will be greeted by our representative and escorted to your hotel.

Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka, the city with its centuries old trees, sub-tropical herbs and well laid out gardens, a modern city which has identified itself as the 'Manhattan of India'.

Upon arrival at your hotel, check in for overnight stay.

Day 02 - Bangalore
Morning at leisure

Later, enjoy an afternoon city tour of Bangalore, which includes a visit to Tipu Sultan Palace, the Ganesh and Bull Temple and the shopping area of Mahatma Gandhi Road.

Day 03 - Bangalore / Hassan
This morning drive to Hassan (200km / 4hrs). On arrival check-in at your hotel.

Enjoy an afternoon tour to Halebid & Belur, temple complexes of Hoysala dynasty, built in the 11th to 13th century, which at one time were the capital cities of the Hoysala dynasty. View the intricately carved temple walls depicting scenes from the epics, elephants in battle, sensuous dancers and the Kama Sutra.

Day 04 - Hassan / Mysore
This morning, embark on a leisurely drive to Mysore (165km / 3.5hrs), en route visiting Saravanabelagota, the famous Jain pilgrim center & one of the oldest of its kind in India. Here, view the colossal statue of Gomateswara, with a height of 57 feet, situated on the peak of Indragiri hill.

Then, proceed to Somnathpur, which is home to the famous Kesava temple - one of the grandest of all Hoysala monuments.

Day 05 - Mysore
Today, enjoy a city tour of Mysore, visiting the Maharaja's Palace built as recently as 1897, which is one of the biggest in India; St Philomena's Church; Sri Jauyachamarajendra Art Gallery housed in the Jag Mohan Palace, which has a collection of exquisite paintings. Also visit the famous Mysore Sanskrit school and if time permits, one of the local yoga studio's. In the evening visit the Chamundi hill temple and Bull temple.

Day 06 - Mysore - Bangalore - Maldives
This morning drive to Bangalore airport to catch your flight to Maldives.

Upon arrival at Male Airport (Maldives) you will be greeted by our representative and escorted to your hotel.

The Maldives is located in the India Ocean, about 500km from the Southern tip of both Sri Lanka and India. The Maldives comprises of more than 1,000 islands, grouped together and protected by surrounding coral reefs. Maldives is famous for its luxurious resorts, water sports, fresh sea food and the tropical sun kissed beaches, a paradise for ultimate relaxation!

Approximately 2 km long and 1 km wide, Male (the capital of Maldives) is the smallest capital in the world. Concentrated within this densely populated area are all of the country's main political, economic, educational and health institutions, as well as housing for over 100,000 people.

Day 06 - 13 - In Maldives
Enjoy the next seven days relaxing on the beach and treating yourself to the various amenities provided by your resort.

You could also take optional excursions to visit the capital city (Male), local fishing villages or take half day island discovery tours to learn more about the people and culture of Maldives. Most resorts in Maldives organize such excursions.

Day 13 - Depart Maldives
Today, you will be transferred to the Male International airport to catch your flight to onward destination.
