Exhibition Set-up Services

These are normally a combination of Administrative Services, Venue related, Design & Fabrication, Back-end Coordination with all sub-contractors/vendors and on-site Venue Management and co-ordination. The list and nature of service vary from event to event and location to location. However, the basic services include:

Trade Facilitation Services

In a trade exhibition, it is most important that the Exhibitor gets the best value for his investment while participating. The promoters and organizers of the show do their best to publicize and promote the event and get quality buyers to the show. While this is being done on one hand, it is equally important for the Exhibitor to look at facilities and services which they could use on a exclusive basis to promote their products and help in getting the maximum out their participation. Pragati Maidan, New Delhi

Spread over 149 acres of prime land in the heart of India's capital, New Delhi, Pragati Maidan, the headquarters of the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) offers 61,290sq.m of covered exhibition space in 16 halls, besides 10,000sq.m of open display area. The complex also has Conference Halls, Theatres (both enclosed & open-air) and an Auditorium. This world class exhibition centre hosts a series of high quality International & National Trade Fairs. Its state-of-the-art exhibition halls have enhanced the its appeal as the ideal business center for an increasing number of fair organisers and business visitors from different parts of the world.

Pragati Maidan is used as an exhibition venue nearly on 250 days in a year. ITPO is keen to promote it as a year round facility through a variety of means including cultural and theatre activities, conference & workshop facilities as well as by creating a wide range of food & beverage outlets offering international and national cuisine's and exciting dining menu's at different venues

Facilities & Services at Pragati Maidan

Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai

The State of Tamil Nadu stepped into the millennium in style with the commissioning of the premier Chennai Trade Centre (CTC), a permanent and modern exhibition venue outside Delhi. Managed by the Tamil Nadu Trade Promotion Organisation (TNTPO) – a joint venture of India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), New Delhi and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), Chennai, the CTC addresses a long-felt need for a permanent and modern exhibition venue in the state, which has emerged as a hub of trade-related activities. Fittingly, the Centre opened its innings in 2001 with the India International Leather Fair, one of the most Prestigious events in ITPO's annual calendar and probably the biggest show of its kind in the continent.

The CTC is located in Nandambakkam adjacent to St. Thomas Mount in an area of over 25 acres of land with four modules of 5000sq.m each of exhibition halls and support services to be built in a phased manner. In the first phase two halls – Hall 1 (5000sq.m) and Hall 2A (1850sq.m) have been set up with 6m height to facilitate the movement of all merchandise, including machinery. CTC is architecturally and technically designed to be a "State of the Art" exhibition complex. The air-conditioned halls have no pillars or columns and are thus eminently suitable for multi-purpose use of organising exhibitions, conferences and industry related events.

The CTC is centrally placed at distance of about 1km from the Kathipara Junction on the road to Bangalore and is positioned close to the International Airport. It is also conveniently placed in the vicinity of several prestigious hotels like the Trident, Radisson and Royal Le Meridian.
