   Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

  Welcome to India! 

 

Arrive at Delhi’s International Airport, where you will be greeted with a traditional Indian welcome with garlands, before being escorted to your hotel by our representative.

Overnight at the Oberoi Hotel.


 

   Day 02 : Day in Delhi


Red Fort - New Delhi

Today you will spend the day discovering the vibrant city of old and New Delhi. Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting Red Fort (built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan), Jama Masjid (one of the largest mosques in India), Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana (cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru). Also, drive past Chandni Chowk, the shopping epicenter of Old Delhi.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of New Delhi includes a visit to Qutab Minar (built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199), Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Lakshminarayan Temple (a modern Hindu Temple). Also, drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place, the shopping epicenter of New Delhi. Overnight at The Oberoi.

This morning embark on a leisurely drive to Agra, enroute visiting Sikandra, The tomb of the great Mughal Emperor Akbar.

Arrive Agra & check in at hotel Oberoi Amarvilas. Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

   Day 04 : Day in Agra
 


         
      Symbol of Love- The Taj Mahal

This morning you will experience eternal love with a dawn visit to the Taj Mahal, which is incomparable and strikingly beautiful in the early hours of sunrise (Please note Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays). You will spend rest of the day exploring Agra, seeing the Agra fort and the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah. You also get the opportunity to indulge in exquisite shopping in the culture and tradition filled city of Agra.

This morning you will embark on your journey from Agra to the pink city of Jaipur. En-route to Jaipur, you will make a brief stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the capital city of Mughal Empire in the 16th century.

Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in to your hotel, Oberoi Rajvilas.

We will let you explore the many facilities provided by your hotel and immerse yourself in the luxurious lifestyle of Indian legendary Rajputs. Overnight stay at hotel.

   Day 06 : Day in Jaipur

 
City Palace - Jaipur


Elephant Ride at Amber Fort

This morning you will drive past the Hawa Mahal (Place of the Winds), built in the 18th century. This palace with its innumerable windows and screened balconies was especially built for the royal women to view the city and processions from behind their ‘purdahs’.

You will then visit the Amber fort, which was built in the 16th century. An elephant ride will help you ascend to this hilltop fort. Alternatively, you could choose to walk or drive up to the fort.

After lunch you will explore Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Visit the City Palace complex with its museums and Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory before returning back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

   Day 07 : Jaipur / Jodhpur (310 Kms /06 Hrs & 30 Min)


Umaid Bahavan Palace


Today you will drive from Jaipur to Jodhpur en route visiting The Brahma Temple at Pushkar. A brief stop at Pushkar, includes lunch at Pushkar Palace before you continue your drive to Jodhpur.

Overlooked by the imposing Mehrangarh fort, this imperial city of Jodhpur beckons you to the wilderness of fascinating dunes, rocky terrain and thorny vegetation. Packed with history, art & culture, this princely state is a treasure of exquisite palaces, forts, temples & havelis.

On arrival, check in at hotel Umaid Bhawan Palace.

Later in the afternoon, visit the Mehrangarh Fort - one of the largest forts in India, it is unsurpassed in beauty & grandeur. Innumerable palaces in the fort, interspersed with sprawling courtyards, are intricately carved. Also visit Jaswant Thanda - the imposing white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II which marks the site of a royal crematorium.

   Day 08 : Jodhpur / Udaipur (259 Kms /05 Hrs & 30 Min)

       
          
 Ranakpur - Jain Temple

After breakfast, embark on a leisurely drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur, en route visiting Ranakpur. Situated in the quiet and picturesque valley of Aravali, Ranakpur is famous for its Jain temple. Ranakpur has inherited its grand structures and beautiful sculptures from the 15th century monarch, Rana Kumbha. The famous Jain temple is bestowed with 1444 intricately carved pillars, no two being alike.

After lunch at Ranakpur, continue your drive to Udaipur, the city of majestic palaces and beautiful lakes in the heart of Rajasthan. Udaipur nestles in a scenic valley, ringed by the green Aravali hills. It is built around three lakes – Pichola, Fateh Sagar & Udai Sagar a little further out.

Upon arrival in Udaipur, check in at your hotel, Oberoi Udaivilas, for 2 nights stay.

   Day 09 : Day in Udaipur

 

 
Lake Palace

Enjoy a morning tour of this lakeside city of Udaipur, visiting the beautiful City Palace (the largest palace complex in Rajasthan), Jagdish Temple (the famous Indo-Aryan temple built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh) and a drive around Fatehsagar lake.

Later in the afternoon, embark on a shikara boat ride at Lake Pichola to view the beautiful Udaipur sunset.

After breakfast transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi. Meeting assistance on arrival & transfer to local Restaurant or Hotel for farewell dinner, later transfer to International airport to board the flight for onward destination.
