Day 01 - Fly Kathmandu / Lhasa
On arrival at the airport you are transferred to your hotel. Please note the Gonggar airport is 90kms outside Lhasa City. Rest of the day is at leisure to acclimatize. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 - In Lhasa
A full day tour of Potala Palace, Drepung Monastery Sera Monastery and Norbulingkha Summer Palace. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 - In Lhasa
A full day tour of Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 - Drive Lhasa / Gyangtse
Morning drive to the Fortress City of Gyangtse taking the southern route driving along the fabled Yamdrok Lake. On arrival check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 - Drive Gyangtse / Shigatse
Morning visit the Kumbum Stupa, one of the most magnificent buildings in Tibet. Also visit Palkhur Choide. Later drive to Shigatse and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 - Drive Shigatse / Xegar
Morning visit the local market. Thereafter drive to Xegar and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 - Drive Xegar / Zhangmu
Morning drive to Zhangmu. The day's drive passes through Lhaze, Tingri West and the old trading post of Nyalam. In the day's drive you will see Mt. Everest from the north face and Mt. Xixapangma (Nepalese name Gosainthan). Evening arrive Zhangmu and check into your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 - Drive Zhangmu / Kathmandu
Morning drive to back to Kathmandu through Kodari the Tibet/Nepal Friendship Bridge. On arrival in Kathmandu you are transferred to your hotel or airport for your onward journey.
