Day in Delhi
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture and the worlds tallest minaret; Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the largest Sikh temple of Delhi, with a gold tomb, still in active worship; a short photo stop at India Gate, the war memorial arch built in honour of the soldiers who died in the second world war and drive past President's House, Parliament House and other Government Secretariat Buildings, the most imposing features of Lutyen’s Delhi.
This afternoon, visit the modern Akshardham temple complex, which epitomizes 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breathtaking grandeur and beauty. The Akshardham experience is an enlightening journey through India’s glorious art, values and contributions for the progress, happiness and harmony of mankind. Later, visit the famous Bahai temple, also called ‘Lotus Temple’, owing to its construction in the shape of a lotus flower.
