Introduction to Discovering Your Inner Silence
Using a simple Buddhist technique called “Mindfulness” this kora (journey) through four of Bhutan’s valleys aims at guiding travelers to an awareness of their breath, body and mind. The participants will gradually and progressively be taken to spaces inside themselves and through a series of easy spiritual practices calm their minds so the inner peace of their true nature can begin to surface.
Mindfulness is the beginning stage of understanding the practice of meditation, which in its true form goes far beyond mere relaxation. This kora is based on the teachings of Tantric Buddhism, which is prevalent throughout Bhutan and also incorporates an insight into Vedantic principles to further augment and deepen the various stages of your inner journey.
Guided by our professional expert each day is structured to focus on a specific spiritual practice as well as an internal practice to facilitate and escalate individual self-awareness.
