In the heart of Darjeeling, close to the Mall’s shopping and entertainment, is Hotel Shangrila Regency. The hotel is owned by a Tibetan, Ranjan Lama and his English wife, Dawn. Located on Gandhi Road, which is a continuation of the Mall Road, it provides an ideal base for the many local tourist attractions, whilst being in a central, up market area of the town. 

Hotel Shangri-la Regency offered 12 guest rooms and suites personify contemporary living. Soft tones and innovative lighting create a relaxed environment, whilst luxury cotton sheets and handmade quilts adorn the beds. Soft 20x30 pillows and mattresses assuring you of a good night’s sleep. There is a seating area in all our rooms providing private space to reflect upon the day’s activities or ponder adventures to be pursued. Every room has remote control television with Cable TV (37 channels including BBC, Star TV, Zee, ESPN etc). The double deluxe rooms have private balconies that create a feeling of both privacy and freedom in a modern, chic setting.
