:- This colonial Hotel, rising amidst three acres of landscaped splendour, is ideally located right beside the historic ‘Kandy Lake’ and cradled between two well-weeded Mountain ranges. Yet amazingly, it is but a few minutes walk to the city center and other places of tourist and historic interest. The Temple of the Sacred tooth Relic of the Lord Buddha,the Archaeological Museum, the Kandyan Arts and Crafts Association, the Market place,the central bus stand and the railway station. 

The first phase of the extension and renovation program completed was the construction of a new shopping arcade, thirty five additional rooms, expansion of public areas, installation of an ultra modern lift, complete modernization of the main kitchen and installation of telephones in all guest rooms.
